Happy Mother's Day

Do they?

1) Today, I heard someone say,


"People come, people go – they’ll drift in and out of your life, almost like characters in a favorite book. When you finally close the cover, the characters have told their story and you start up again with another book, complete with new characters and adventures. Then you find yourself focusing on the new ones, not the ones from the past."


Thats sad if its true.


2) This is too cute!

Nostalgic. Thats becoming an emotion/state of mind I'm always in now. But. Like the 'message' in today's poem, Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero (ARGHH!) I guess while some people live for the future, sometimes I'm stuck in the past? Still trying.... And yes, it's necessary to keep reminding myself of this... else it gets pushed to the back of my mind... and yeah, back to daydreaming days ;)


3) One more thing, I REALLY REALLY do need to start revising hard now. Feel too lax now... and it's the final exams - ones that count much more than puny GCSEs - and even then, I panicked and actually worked; feels surreal.
